I must admit, I especially like the fall and winter when it comes to showcasing lipstick colors. While summer shades are somewhat predictable, winter shades can be a little more adventurous....and "we" know women like us...those over 40...appreciate implementing variety in our lives.
In this article, I will share just a few of my affordable and stylish lipstick colors--all which coordinate with the "it" fashion colors of the season. Some of the colors include orange, red, wine, pink, violet and of course nudes.
I am loving the NYX Liquid Suede lipstick in the color Kitten Hills (I lined my lips with NYX lip liner in the color Vintage). Ooo..la...la...this redish-orange lipstick is o-so-delightful. Red The represents energy, positivity and action. Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction and success...all great things to embody when you're fabulous and over 40! Perfect shade for winter and fall...wouldn't you agree?!

I am also loving NYX Liquid Suede in the color Pink Lust/Passion Rose...what a name...right?! I lined my lips with Milani, I am Powerful (yes, love that name too).The delicate color pink is associated with words such as, sweet, nice, playful, cute, romantic, charming and feminine. This pink combo...will complement many of our fall and winter looks.

Of course nude shades are in for fall and winter. I am loving the NYX Soft Matte Cream in the color Cairo (I used the NYX Lip Liner in the color Vintage). This exciting shade is a combination of nude and peach. The color nude represents sentiments of warmth, solace and security. While the color peach is directly associated with the expression of modesty, earnestly and innocence. This velvety and smooth lipstick and gloss in one is both peachy nude...and peachy fun!

...and another one of my favorite lipstick colors for the season is, Morphe Matte Liquid in the color...Spicy (l lined my lips with NYX lip liner in the color Vintage). This teasing orange color is long wearing, kiss proof and goes on liquid but dries to a velvety matte finish.
